Galapagos has always had a high ranking on our “Bucket List” We chose to take this cruise on a small catamaran (with only 11 other passengers) for our 2012 vacation. We hadn’t yet retired. The 10 day cruise was delightful but we didn’t get a chance to spend time in Ecuador or Peru as part of this trip. We will be making that another adventure, most likely in 2016.

The Athala II is a deluxe 98-ft motor catamaran was designed for Galapagos Island tours. The smaller vessel allowed us to visit some of the more remote landing areas.
