After leaving Revelstoke, we spent the night in Kamloops, B.C., where the temperature peaked at 97 degrees. We experienced a 62 degree increase in temperature. Two days before, it snowed during our hike around Lake Moraine. We then traveled southwest from Kamloops to Chilliwack, B.C., where we spent our last night in Canada. In the morning, we crossed the border at Sumas. We reached the coast in Bellingham, hiked a bit and took some back roads to maximize the scenic views. Our adventure ended in Seattle, Washington, where we hiked around Kerry Park and had a Copper River salmon dinner at Wally’s. What a way to celebrate the finale of our road trip! We then turned in the rental car and flew back to LAX.
